    Easy Rocky Roads

    These Easy Rocky Roads are great for bake sales or sweet treats. This rocky road is easy and supper quick to make, using store cupboard ingredients!

    Easy Recipe

    Makes 24 triangular rocky roads



    Ingredients:

    200g digestive biscuits;

    120g unsalted butter;

    400g milk chocolate (can use dark chocolate);

    5tbsp maple syrup;

    180g marshmallows;

    100g raisins

    icing sugar - to dust.




    Recipe:

    Grease and line a 25cm x 15cm rectangular tin with baking paper.


    Break up 200g digestive biscuits by placing them in a freezer bag and bash with a rolling pin. In a large saucepan melt 80g of butter, 200g chocolate and 3tbsp maple syrup over a gentle heat stirring constantly until it's smooth. Leave to cool.


    Take the biscuits, 180g marshmallows, 100g raisins and stir into the chocolate mixture until everything is completely covered in chocolate. Tip the mixture into the lined baking tin and spread out to the corners. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.


    Take the rocky road out the fridge. In a large saucepan melt together 40g butter, 200g chocolate and 2tbsp maple syrup. Pour the chocolate mixture over the rocky road and leave to set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
