Classic Miniature Chocolate Chip Cookies



This classic miniature chocolate chip cookie recipe is an easy chocolate chip cookie recipe for soft biscuits. Make lots of these as they're sure to be hit.

Cook time: 10 minutes @170°C Fan / 190°C / 375°F / gas mark 5

Easy Recipe

Makes 25



Ingredients:

150g softened, unsalted butter;

140g caster sugar;

2tsp vanilla extract

1 large egg;

200g sieved, plain flour;

1tsp bicarbonate soda;

1tsp baking powder;

1/2 tsp salt;

200g milk chocolate chips, or chunks



Recipe:

Heat the oven 170°C Fan / 190°C / 375°F / gas mark 5, and line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper.


Mix together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract, egg and salt. Sift in the plain flour, bicarbonate of soda, and baking powder. Fold in the milk chocolate chips until fully blended.


Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture. This should make about 25 cookies.


Bake for 10 minutes until they are light brown on the edge and slightly soft in the centre. Leave on the tray for a couple of minutes to set and then lift onto a wired rack to cool.
